Monday

7:15~
Finally open my eyes and get up. I'm getting over a cold and waking up is always the hardest part.

7:20~
Head out to the living room where istead of hearing a sweet, "Good morning, Mommy!" I'm rudely informed that she gets to used teh computer first. Nice way to wake up.

8:00~
M uses teh computer, E watches Bear in teh Big Blue House, I go thgrough some new science books we got from the school to mark projects I think would be good.

8:45~
E brings me the magnadoodle and asks me to draw him some letters. He turns the "O" into a sun all by himself.

9:00~
I start folding the laundry, making beds, tackling the kitchen...

10:00~
I make the terrible mistake of letting E see me make a sandwich to pack in our lunch. he decides he needs it now and screams/cries/wails until I give it to him. Note to self - make sandwiches in secret from now on.

11:00~
Went to the zoo. Saw reptiles, had lunch, wandered around the Children's Zoo. Gave E another go at a petting zoo with much less disastrous results (last Saturday, there was an "incident" involving some chicks and a not-so-gentle 2-year-old boy).











And that is just about all the education we had today. I spent the rest of the day desperately trying to catch the house back up to clean after a weekend of having a cold.
