Last Night

We went back to check out the spider and her ant which was now all wrapped up. Sort of. Well, actually I think it was me who checked and then just shouted the report back to M. She was too busy to be bothered with it, you know.

She asked me to pull out her workbooks and we looked at some of the work she'd done in them. They are preschool-level writing books. One of paper and the other is wipe-off so it can be reused. Mostly she scribbles all over them, but there were some actual letters written in there. Lots of the letter "T". Even on, say, the "B" page. There are T's all over the book. We also talked a bit about the letter O and which words begin with it (ostrich, owl) and which words do not (dog, fish). She knows more letters and sounds than I had realized.
