Valentine's Week

Sunday 2/11
-Built a marble track by herself, learned how to make it work properly.

Monday 2/12
-M is sick today.
-Looked at some Life Cycle books together today (jumping spider, lady bug, etc)

Tuesday 2/13
-Worksheets
-Worked with dad on her Valentines

Wednesday 2/14
-Valentine's art project
-Spent the morning at grandma's coloring and fingerpainting.
-Had a reading lesson in the afternoon.

Thursday 2/15
-Spent the whole morning at the playground with our new homeschooling group.
-Played educational games online, learned new facts about animals.

Friday 2/16
-Hammered out a bunch of tracing worksheets.
-Our usual homeschool park day. She spent the afternoon gathering sticks with the kids and then "building" a "house" with them on the playground equipment.

Saturday 2/17
-Spent several hours at the zoo learning about okapis, raptors, ducks and pygmy marmosets, etc. Collected pressed pennies for her collection and for her penpal's collection.
-Came home and look up answers to some questions we had (what do pythons eat? etc)
