So far we've finished Meet Kirsten, colored, played, & done some math worksheets.
We discussed cholera & why some diseases aren't scary anymore.
M read some of the words on her worksheets on her own.
Friday 2/9
Sequencing cards this morning.
Park day where M played football with the boys, hunted for bb's with the only other girl and then played on skateboards.
Dropped some old toys off at the thrift store.
Played for about 30 min on the computer on an educational DVD.
Dictated songs, poems and prose to me for her My Little Pony Book that she made.
These Kids o' Mine

She is six and full of spirit. She reads voraciously, knows her math, and is in speech therapy to help her words come out clearly. We use a charter homeschooling program which provides us with many opportunities in the way of classes and supplies.
Elliott
My three-year-old had a pretty significant language delay and has been in programs since he was 18 months old to keep an eye on it. He's gaining in leaps and bounds, but we keep our eyes on him. He knows all the letters and most of their sounds. He knows all his number up to 20 or so and all his colors and shapes - including octagon! He loves puzzles and his train set.
