On Break
It was obvious to me a couple weeks ago that we needed a break. M wasn't enjoying her worksheets anymore and I was feeling lost and overwhelmed. So we took a break. We've done nothing formal, and have enjoyed just relaxing. Does that mean we stopped learning? Nope! Among other random bits of learning, we went with some other homeschooling families to a special day at Sea World and the following week we spent some time with some friends from out of town - including a full day at the zoo. Breaks are always good, we're taking one this week I just declared it nothing but reading & thanksgiving activities (we focus on turkeys, pumpkins, and fall stuff - leaves - for thanksgiving OH and food. in general. yum).
