Tuesday

Elliott came down with a fever last night and hasn't truly eaten since lunch yesterday. Not sure where this is going, but I am glad I had the foresight to go to bed early so that I was able to get enough sleep through the night once I added up all the bits and pieces.

~Margie played on Webkinz this morning - it's Webkinz Day!!
~TV morning - Margie watched (among other things) Bindi The Jungle Girl.
~Elliott played on Starfall.com
~The kids did puzzles with me and together.
~Snack time: M had toast & cheese, E ate chips & cheese (he ate!!)
~Art time: Elliott went through his coloring books calling out pictures and letters he saw. M tried using her learn-to-draw book and got frustrated. We looked at studies of Waterhouse paintings and talked about how artists need to practice first.
~Margie made sandwiches again for her and Elliott.
~And cleaned up after herself!
~After naps, Elliott played online at PBSkids.org and Margie and I looked on Flickr at Legoland, CA photos.
~Margie invented a recipe for a milkshake in the Magic Bullet: (rice) milk and frozen strawberries.
~Elliott asked for grapes and a waffle for a snack. He ate it all and is acting like himself again! Hoping he's over it, whatever it was.
~Margie played outside with her neighbor friend, Ashley, and they discovered a spider and her egg sac.
