~Almost first thing this morning M helped me make cookies. She got out the measuring cup, poured it all in, cracked the egg and mixed it up. Then she made the fork marks in the peanut butter cookies.
~Elliott played on PBSkids.org.
~M helped me clean the house.
~M made a card that said, "We will miss you" (she copied what I wrote for her) and drew a cherry falling from a tree and waving goodbye.
~Elliott added a bit to the card.
~Elliott got out a puzzle.
~E's teacher arrived for her very last visit since by next Friday, E will be three. *sniff* She and I talked a bit about our goals for him - which, we have decided, is to hope he does qualify for speech services in the school district.
~The kids were insane, but I did get a video of the song we sing each day as we say goodbye and a picture of the three of them.
~Snack time.
~M disappeared into her room and about half an hour later asked if she could come out of her time out. I reminded her that she wasn't in a time out. *snicker*
~E and I looked at photos on our Flickr account.
~There is a brand-spankin'-new Borders opening today so we decided to head out to see it. While there, I tried reading some books to Elliott, but did not get to finish before he decided we were done. Margie read at least one book to herself. I bought the boy a book for his birthday, and I bought M a bilingual book called My House/Mi Casa as well as a pad of Mad Libs.
~In the car, M sat and observed a bee for a few minutes which was just outside the glass. She had a great view.
~After lunch, M and I read the book and did a few Mad Libs while E watched a video of Super Why and WordWorld he'd gotten as a goodbye gift from his teacher (it was a free copy they had in her office).
~I looked at some Look & Find books with Elliott while Margie took her turn in front of a screen - she played Webkinz online.
~M played outside and then her friend came over to play My Little Ponies. Elliott joined in the pony fun.
~M & Ashley got out the magnet set and were picking up the magnetic circles with fridge magnets while using the magnet wands to stick to other metal items in the house.
~The girls got VERY silly running around. So I decided it was time for dinner and sat them down with PB Sammies.
~When Alex got home, M walked Ashley home and then Alex showed the kids their current favorites on YouTube.com.
~Bedtime! Alex did more Mad Libs with M tonight.
